I would like to design my own new Type Manager UI, but with out API access to the Types Database through the software there is no way to integrated it. It lacks Plugin/Add-on API access to most of the features of the software. They do release official Add-Ons periodically, but they are very poorly integrated into the base software and seem more like 3rd Party utilizes than actual official features. This update interval does not at all justify the license maintenance cost. There are no new major features being added to the base software, they release minor tweak and improvements every few years. It can become very laggy where you must wait 2 or 3 seconds in between each click of the mouse. Must go through several layers of windows to get to things. The Product/Type Database manager UI is very cumbersome and inefficient. Very antiquated UI, many basic and common operations take a lot more steps and menus then would be necessary in a modern UI.
(P24.A, P24.B) We have resort to doing all our wire numbering by hand. Cons: -Lack of basic features like wire numbers based on cells (501.1 501.2) etc, and Wire numbers with alphabetical postfixes.
